Supertrash recycling and composting measure every bin with LOADRITE E2750
Since March 2012 we have saved over 5.7 million kgs of waste from going to landfill.
We are Supertrash, a small, family-run collection service with a big purpose; to help divert waste from landfill through circular solutions.
Each month we help our customers divert over 200,000 kgs of Aucklands waste from landfill.
Now with LOADRITE E2750 weigh scales on our 5 rear loader collection trucks we accurately weigh every bin at the collection point, data and information critical in the fight to reduce waste and increase recycling and re use.
Back in 2009, founder Steve Rickerby was working at an insurance company. When the company moved into Auckland’s first 5-star green rated building the staff were required to separate rubbish as part of the rating system. Recycling, rubbish and compost were taken care of, however, none of the large waste companies offered a service to collect the food waste and paper hand towels. There was no space to compost onsite and the waste was going straight to landfill.
Steve decided to solve the problem by launching We Compost — with one bin on the back of his ute.

LOADRITE discussed the project with Supertrash management and worked closely on proving the best solution which could accuratly integrate to their back office management system and route optmisation software. Direct communications between the LOADRITE E2750 and truck operator tabled are via bluetooth communication link.
