SOLAS VGM 12 months later
With the SOLAS Verified Container Mass (VGM) regulations now over 12 months since the 2016 inception, LOADRITE NZ are performing re-certifications of all the various machines throughout the country. Now most Ports and Inland Terminals are using LOADRITE payload management solutions to generate their container VGM certificates. Many are integrating weight data with Port Management Software such as Jade master Terminal. The volume of installations has reduced since the July 2016 implementation date however LOADRITE continue to install on new equipment and have seen an increase of installs on the smaller forklifts which are required to be certified scales for vanning containers with individual pallets.
LOADRITE remain the only company capable of providing certified scales for larger container handlers with payloads up to 35 tonnes and continue to extend their capabilities into other container handling machine such as straddle carriers.
