Winter is finally loosening its grip after a bout of particularly nasty Antarctic fronts

Winter has finally begun to loosen its grip, with the days getting slightly warmer and daylight savings kicking in. As usual the change of seasons has been heralded with a bout of particularly nasty fronts moving up from Antarctica, dropping snow and temperatures as they battle their way north.  In the midst of this atrocious weather the majority of our clients continue to go about their daily activities-visits to a number of lower North Island quarries during the height of the recent storms showed that it was business as usual for them, as they continued to push out aggregates needed to supply the Transmission Gully and PekaPeka civil projects. The sheer scale of these projects (and the many others happening around NZ) illustrates just how dynamic the environments are that Loadrite and it’s customer base operate in. As a New Zealand developed and manufactured product, Loadrite scales are built to function without fault in our harsh settings, and it’s pleasing to note that our field teams have not had to respond to a weather related callout yet this winter!!
